PHG selected the traditional Separate Account/Operating Partner, model as the most advantageous.  This structure allows the Foundation to “outsource” much of the traditional real estate activities and also provides a seamless implementation of the Housing Initiative.

 

As the Foundation continues to add properties to their Affordable Housing portfolio, PHG will be able to provide an increasing quantity of safe, dignified rental housing for the “at risk” veteran. Working in collaboration with local housing agencies, PHG identifies unmet housing needs for permanent supportive Veterans rental housing.  The group will then underwrite the purchase, and facilitate the Bond financing process to a successful closing.
